My Life's Meaning

I have never thought about what matter most in my life thoroughly. When I started thinking about it deeply,to my surprise, there are a lot of things which make me feel enjoy!I have my parents, brother, friends, and relatives who are very good to me. Because of them, I become a university student ,and can manage and control myself. In fact, it is not easy for me to cope with NUS's life. With the help of my seniors, friends and acquaintances, my life becomes better.I sincerely appreciate them.
I want to be very rich. Sometimes, I cannot satisfy myself. But, when I think about it calmly, I think I am so lucky. Because compare to people suffering poverty, why cannot I satisfy myself! There are also similar situations I want to make those change and become what I like. But, there are always others who suffer more. I feel compassion for them. So, my life is satisfactory. It is a very meaningful thing.
Life is a long journey.Tranquility is the thing I always want to have.Thinking about it seriously,I had it and can have it all the time.Everybody can have it. Sometimes we cannot be aware of it, but we can create it.I value everyone I've been able to be with. Actually, it is my right and my responsibility to be a happy peaceful person to give my life meaning. Luckily, everybody can have a chance.

That is a good thought. One word that can used - Desire

Desire is limitless, its boundary is as far as what the mind can think of. It is hard to satisfy desire. Even when a certain "want" is obtained, the mind will think of wanting other things. That is the nature of desire.

The other word I can think of against this desire - Contentment

I believe many of us have a sheltered childhood and many things are often given to us. As a result, many of us have taken things for granted. However, when we take a step back and ponder about matters of life. We just realised how fortunate we have been over the past few years compared to those who have experienced hardship from the very start of their childhood. I always tell myself to be contented with what you have. Anyway, life is always greener on the other side.
